The Master of Arts/MPhil in Missiology

The MA/MPhil in Missiology programme has the objective of providing students with the necessary tools to
do analysis and interpretation of global Christianity. Graduates of the programme will be prepared to provide
effective leadership in the praxis of mission in the 21st century by integrating social, crosscultural, theological
and development issues that impact Christian missions today.

The MA/MPhil is a two year modular programme with at least one course taught each month over an extended
period. Cross-registration of other selected courses may be available subject to demand.

The Master of Arts in Counselling & Community Development

The Master of Arts in Counselling & Community Development seeks to equip its graduates with competencies
that allow them to facilitate change at individual, group, and community levels. This programme is rooted in an
understanding that many of the social challenges can be tackled in strategic ways by targeting communities
and the individuals and groups that occupy them. Graduates will be able to effectively apply knowledge and
skills from the fields of Counseling and Community Development, and develop supporting competencies in
research.

The MA in Counselling & Community Development is a two-year modular programme, with one course being
taught each month over an extended weekend (Fri –Sun) in addition to tutorials on Saturdays. Online delivery
of selected courses may be available, subject to demand.

The Master of Science in Consulting Psychology

The objective of the MSc. in Consulting Psychology is the preparation of practitioners who are highly qualified
in the newly emerging field of Consulting Psychology. Graduates of this programme will be trained to facilitate
change at the individual, group and organizational levels using cutting-edge consulting techniques that are
rooted in psychological principles.

The MSc is a two-year modular programme, with one course being taught each month over an extended
weekend (Fri –Sun) in addition to tutorials on Saturdays. Online delivery of selected courses may be available,
subject to demand.

The Master of Arts in Pastoral Psychology & Counselling

The Master of Arts in Pastoral Psychology and Counselling (MAPPC) program develops professional counsellors
who are well grounded in the integration of psychological and spiritual knowledge as a holistic foundation for
effective therapeutic practice. The Master of Arts in Pastoral Psychology and Counselling (MAPPC is accredited
by the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) and is offered in collaboration with St. Stephen’s College in Canada.

The MAPPC is a 18 months modular programme, with one course being taught each month over an extended
weekend (Fri –Sun) in addition to tutorials on Saturdays. Online delivery of selected courses may be available,
subject to demand.

The Master of Arts in Consulting & Community Development

The Master of Arts in Consulting & Community Development seeks to equip its graduates with competencies
that allow them to facilitate change at individual, group, organizational and community levels. This programme
