The
University
General
Council
Within that
framework, Governors of the General Council guide the University.
The General Council
comprises the following:
a.
A Chancellor
b. A Pro-Chancellor who functions as deputy to the Chancellor
c. A President and three Vice Presidents who provide
operational leadership for the University.
d. Principals and Vice Principals/Deans who provide operational
leadership for the college entities.
e. Four persons, (not including the Principals), drawn
from each of the participating entities.
f. .Four representatives
from the Synod of the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman
Islands (UCJCI),
....one of whom is to be named
by the Cayman Council.
g. Four representatives drawn from the academic and wider
community.
h. Two representatives selected for special expertise.
