Accreditation

The University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) is the accrediting body for tertiary programmes in Jamaica.
Several of ITLD's programmes have been accredited, namely, the Diploma and B. A. in Theology,
B.Ed (Primary Specialization), B.A. in Guidance and Counselling (full degree and degree completion),
and the MA Pastoral Psychology & Counselling (MAPPC). Accreditation is currently being sought for
all other ITLD programmes through the UCJ. The normal procedure is for programmes to be delivered
in keeping with UCJ guidelines and then submitted for accreditation after the graduation of the first
cohort. At present Registration is being sought for MNC after which time accreditation will be pursued.
